before and after

I took this first picture today for the Photo Friday theme "candy":

But, though I like the image, it's not that dissimilar from dozens of others already on this week's list. Truth is, this picture I took a few months ago sums up the theme better. Particularly Sophia's expression:

Wow, I assume that's Sophia as in Diane's daughter? I can't believe she's that old already!
