These three paintings are 30" x 30". I had put four together to make a five foot square painting but it just didn't work. It was too predictable, if that makes any sense. Too much square: four squares to make a big square. Just no good. So I reworked each square and am much happier with the pieces now, as separate paintings.
I just LOVE your work - I am pleased to have stumbled on your site. I read your profile - I was born outside of DC in Norther VA and lived in NYC as a dancer after a 4 year stint in Toronto for school (York U.). My big bro lives in Dartmouth with his wife - also an artist - Roxanne Smith. (He and his first wife spent lots of years in Montreal) Do you by any chance know her work? mostly photography. Could this be a small world after all?
