Our living room as of today. Good morning, sunshine.
Ohmigod, your house is breathtaking! Those walls are fabulous! And I'm absolutely insane with jealousy over all that wood, all those built-ins. Wow. What a great home.
Remind me some time to tell you the story about my first house and the 'peach' walls. Oh, wait. You already told it. That's EXACTLY what happened to me; I thought I was getting a nice, light, warm peach, and I got a nothing-but-white instead. Sigh. My living room today, at our new house? Golden orange. Love it to pieces.

Posted by: Amanda at February 9, 2004 07:19 PMI hope you're happy with this. It looks lovely. Does the light change in the room over the course of the day? I have a yellow living room and the color is quite different depending on the time of day.
Posted by: rose at February 10, 2004 11:32 AMGorgeous, absolutely gorgeous.
Posted by: Sundry at February 10, 2004 06:42 PMI'm getting on the next plane outta here! Prepare the guest room!
Posted by: Leya at February 11, 2004 03:55 PMThanks, everyone! Rose, I'm very happy with it. And yes, it really does change color throughout the day. Sometimes it feels much paler, sometimes it's more orangey. But it looks right on the walls and I'm so thrilled. Slowly, room by room, we're making this house ours.
Posted by: Tamar at February 12, 2004 11:12 AMYour walls look beautiful! I am looking for a shade of yellow for a room in my house. Can you tell me the brand and color name you used?
Thanks!
